This explains what personal data we collect when you buy from pathhouse.online, why, and what we do with it. The site is operated by [BUSINESS NAME]. Contact: support@pathhouse.online.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you enter at checkout.
- Order details: which kit you bought, the payment reference, the time of purchase and how many times you have downloaded each file.
- Technical data that our hosting provider records when you visit, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to run the site.
- Usage data from analytics: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, time on the site, your device and browser type, approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address, which is then discarded), how you arrived (for example a link or a search), and errors in your browser. If you accept analytics, this can also include a recording of how you use the site with everything you type hidden, and a random visitor ID kept in a cookie and local storage. If you decline, we only count visits anonymously, with no cookies and nothing stored on your device.
We do not collect your card or bank details. You enter those on Paystack's payment page, and Paystack handles them.
Why we use it
- To process your payment and confirm it with Paystack.
- To give you access to what you bought, and to email you the download link.
- To answer support requests, prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who else handles it
- Paystack processes payments and holds your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores order records and the kit files.
- Our email provider sends the download email to the address you entered.
- PostHog (hosted in the EU) provides our analytics, through our own domain. We never send them your email address, payment details or download links. If you accepted analytics, your purchase may be linked to your visit through the random visitor ID.
These providers may process data in other countries.
How long we keep it
Order records that give access to downloads are stored for 60 days after purchase and then deleted automatically. Payment records are kept by Paystack according to its policies and the law. Emails you send to support are kept as long as needed to help you. We keep analytics data only while it is useful, and can delete it on request.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. If you accept analytics, our analytics set a cookie and use local storage for a random visitor ID. If you decline, they set no cookies and store nothing on your device. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we load no analytics at all. Paystack and Cloudflare may also set cookies that they need to run payments and security.
Your analytics choice
You can change your choice at any time.
Marketing email
We will only send you marketing email where you have agreed to it or where the law allows it, and every such email will include a way to unsubscribe. The delivery email for your purchase is not marketing.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@pathhouse.online. Rights vary by country, and we will respect the ones that apply to you. Deleting an order record also removes your download access.
Children
The kits are for adults and students applying for funding or work. We do not knowingly collect data from young children. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
