You can find endless lists of tools and prompts online. What is harder to find is a method: how to brief an assistant, how to catch the confident mistakes it makes, how to keep client information private, and how to turn a skill into something someone might pay for without lying or being scammed.
SkillPath is about that method. It names no products, because tools change every few months. It teaches skills that outlast them.
"Write a post about my bakery."Could be about any bakery, anywhere. You will rewrite all of it.
"I run a small bakery selling birthday cakes and small chops. Write three Instagram captions announcing December orders. Audience: young professionals ordering for family events. Tone: warm and a little funny, under 40 words each, one call to action: send a direct message. No invented prices or discounts."Goal, context, format, constraints. (Sample text from the guide. The bakery is fictional.)
Twelve short chapters: what AI can and cannot do, briefing, checking, everyday work, writing, content for small businesses, spreadsheet tidying, choosing one service, pricing and scope, finding clients and avoiding scams, ethics and confidentiality, and a portfolio with a 30-day plan.
Every chapter ends with something you produce or use. The appendix lists kinds of resources to verify, because platforms, tools and rules change.
You will see posts promising large monthly income from AI with no skill. SkillPath does not. Chapter 10 is a list of the scams that use that hype, including pay-to-start jobs and fake clients who overpay, and the rule that protects you: never pay to get work.
If you choose to offer a service, the kit helps you price it from your real costs, write a clear proposal, and set limits on revisions. Whether anyone buys depends on your effort, your market and luck. All money figures in the kit are fictional examples in US dollars, and the calculator lets you set your own currency.
